Pickling Lines

Pickling Lines

A Pickling Line is a steel processing facility used to remove surface oxides, scale, and impurities from hot rolled steel strips through acid treatment, typically using hydrochloric acid (“HCl”). The process improves surface cleanliness and quality, making the steel suitable for further downstream processing such as cold rolling, galvanising, and colour coating. Pickling lines are designed to ensure uniform surface treatment, improved product quality, and enhanced process efficiency in flat steel manufacturing operations. The Company has supplied pickling lines in multiple configurations with up to five tanks and processing capabilities for steel strips up to 2,000 mm in width.

Our turnkey solutions include everything from design, engineering, and manufacturing to installation and commissioning.
